Not soft enough.

Good foam density. Doesn't retain a lot of heat but not enough give and sort of stiff. Expensive. I would recommend it with caveats as I truly expected a softer foam.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was the most uncomfortable mattress pad I have ever slept on. When I opened the box, which was ripped and took all the wrapping off, and unzipped the mattress cover, 3 bugs flew out. I took the mattress cover all the way off to wash it and make sure there were no more in the mattress pad. The mattress pad was very soft and squishy. I was very disappointed and threw it out, because it couldn't be returned.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our mattress was a few years old and needed a boost because we were waking up with back pain. I was wary of getting temper-pedic because I had heard that it was hot to sleep on. Our topper has been cool and our back pain has been alleviated. We are sleeping very soundly. Strongly recommend.

I personally need something a bit firmer for my back. If I had a better idea of the lack of firmness I may not have purchased it. I should have purchased a new mattress, this brand has been highly recommended, but the costs of mattresses are too high so I thought the topper would be a good alternative.
