Not great with my existing Tempurpedic Mattress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This topper feels nice, and I think it would be good on a traditional mattress, but I reached out to Tempurpedic asking if this would add a cooling effect to my original Tempurpedic mattress and was told it would. I can't say that I've noticed a cooling difference and what they didn't tell me is that it is smaller than my mattress. It has also made my fitted sheet come loose at night. Soooo.... not feeling cooler at night, and hassled with the sheet and undersized pad and out some money. I'd recommend this for memory foam comfort on a traditional mattress, just not to put on top of an existing Tempurpedic hoping for cooling. Also, these pads are not returnable.

The cushion is not enough and the cooling effect lasts only a couple of minutes. I've since learned that gel cools only in optimal sleep temperatures (between 62-67 degrees), which is not working in our 73-degree Florida home. I'm sure it would work in your Montana cabin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After have an 8 level spinal fusion I was left needing very firm mattress. The fusion also left a rub stump that was very painful to lay on. This topper has changed my sleep and I wake so much less stiff. The cooling us awesome, no more waking up with sweaty back or neck. The corner straps keep it perfect in place no matter how many times I adjust head or foot up and down through night.

I have curvature of the spine in addition to artheo-arthritis in my hip and spine. The TEMPUR-ADAPT has enabled me to get the best and peaceful sleep I have had in many years!
