As a side sleeper I was having shoulder, hip and back pain from a mattress that was too firm. Almost immediate relief of all three with addition of this product. Less aware of its temperature impact. Be aware that fitted sheets will need to accommodate the thickness.

This topper saved us from having to replace our mattress! Our Casper was feeling a bit firm after 1 year of ownership, my partner and I started waking up with aches and sore joints. Topper is comfortable. Only issue is it tends to move around on top of the bed despite the elastic straps on the corners. It mostly moves down. Definitely not a deal breaker.
