After a tear filled moving in day I got a call the next morning from my daughter just to tell me that she had never slept better! The topper made a less than great dorm mattress feel like a cool cloud. She stated that she was cool throughout the night despite her roommates tendency to turn up the temperature in the room. Thank you for making an excellent product that provides comfort to my daughter for sleeping and her parents for a happy child.

The only thing is ... it's a little too soft for me ... but would be great for anyone who likes the feeling of a soft mattress pad. Unfortunately, there is no "firm" option ... unless I missed it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I got 2 of these for our split king. The measurements are accurate, but you should check to make sure your twin-XL isn't wider than the topper. Also, be aware that if you get the temperature control cover for it, the topper crams into the cover which makes it firmer than it would be on its own. I'd still recommend it, it's very comfortable. Even being a little too narrow and a little firmer than we thought, every night is spent blissfully sleeping on a nice, soft bed. Knowing what I know now, I'd make the same choice again.

I also have the cooling cover protector which does cool and 2 different types of pillows I like the one for side sleeping and the other when I sleep on my back
