It added significant comfort to my college student's very average mattress and the cooling component of this topper is worth the extra money. We bought this topper for our college aged son. He is an athlete and sleep is very important to him. We bought a twin XL cooling mattress topper for his bed. He loves it, says it's a great temperature to sleep on, and he feels restored when he wakes up! Great purchase!

Yet the topper has a tendency to slide over the side with the getting in and out of bed, sides of cover rise up and don't stay tucked in the corners or sides. These issues shouldn't exist considering the expense and quality of the pieces themselves.
