[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the topper certainly provides padding, it is too soft and practically envelopes you making turning over challenging - and I don't weigh very much! It has eased the ache in my hips and shoulders, which is good, but it is way too soft and my sleep is even more disrupted as a result of sinking in too deep. If soft is your ideal this is the topper for you. Unfortunate that the only choices below are yes or no for recommendation - I think there should be a more nuanced way to respond, because I can't explain I will use NO.

Very comfortable over a Stearns and Foster mattress The topper seems to shift a bit and gets pulled to one side also my deep pocket sheets can't seem to hold it The problem may be the cooling cover that goes over the mattress pad itself. It is a bit challenging to have to pull it back into place every day and then refit the sheets. But overall it really helps my back so I can live with the extra work

My pillow top mattress was too firm. I am a side sleeper and woke up every morning with hip and shoulder pain. As well as multiple times during the night trying to get comfortable. This mattress topper has been a game changer! Absolutely love it.
