Doesn't cool as hoped

Was excited to try this. Unfortunately it doesn't cool to any level that helps to sleep more comfortably. Also, I find it to be too soft, and I often wake with a sore back. Because it is so soft, if you lay to close to the edge if the bed, it feels like you are going roll off and you have to readjust your position.

We unfortunately could not afford the bed we wanted, but the topper as helped tremendously with my chronic pain. The cooling of the topper has helped with my hot flashes from steroids I have to take for my pain. Thank you Tempurpedic! Maybe someday, we can afford the whole bed and my soldier husbands horrible snoring will stop too!

I am usually a restless sleeper, but with this I swear I don't even remember moving a few nights. Only downside is it slides off my mattress and sheets don't really stay on the bed. Slight inconvenience to constantly have to fix this.

For the record, I have not been compensated for this review. My boyfriend and I inherited a mattress (already showing it's age) about 6 years ago. We aren't currently in a position to completely replace the well loved mattress right now but we were both suffering hip, back and shoulder pain. I also tend to have, let's say "warm moments" at night and wake up damp all over, gross I know, but part of life. We decided to try 3 different toppers over the past year and this one is by far the best we have tried and the one we're going to be sticking with. Conforms well to both our bodies, mitigates the vast majority of our normal hip, back and shoulder pains and has helped me personally keep a little cooler all night long. Honestly still wake up a little sweaty but it has helped keep me from being in my own pond on my side of the bed every morning. Also keeps me comfortable enough from waking up as much as I used to when my boyfriend gets up repeatedly throughout the night to go to the bathroom, can barely feel him moving around on his side. Only complaints I have with it, which I'm sure others might have, is one, it has a tendency to shift under the mattress protector slowly. Find myself repositioning it every 2-3 days or so cuz it's shifting down the mattered or from side to side at the head. My second and only other complaint I have was the unboxing and covering. It showed up in a box that was easy to carry up the stairs and was very convenient, but the separate cooling cover took forever to get around the topper itself once we unrolled the topper. Was very difficult for us to do and get it fully zipped all the way around because the cover likes to slip around more than we'd like. That's why I can't give 5 stars to this exceptional product. Aside from that we do love this topper! Would highly recommend to anyone who needs to get a few last years out of a well loved and aging mattress or anyone who needs a little more comfort and cooling!

You spend more time putting it back on the bed than sleeping

I've tried a gripping pad, securing straps and even purchased another mattress cover with straps. Alone, together, nothing has worked and now it's back in the box in the garage because it can't be returned due to it being a "personal" item. Don't bother.
