I bought this because I have a tight IT band and I was waking up in the middle of the night and morning with hip pain. I thought a softer surface might help because my mattress is firm. The topper made it very hard for me to turn over during the night. So hard I would need to grab the side of the bed to help me turn over. I am 5'5" and 145 lbs so I am not a very large person. It is also hot to sleep on. I even bought the cool cover and it did not help. I usually run cold so I think this would be unbearable for someone who runs hot. This is now on my bedroom floor because I can't return it and I have no idea how to store this. It was a very bad investment that I am kicking myself for.

The mattress topper lost its shape after about 2 weeks. The "cooling" topper is a scam. It was not firm at all, and now my back is paying for it. Would not recommend.

I tried to replace my old memory foam topper with this one. It didn't offer very good support. I sunk right through it. Ended up using this one on top of my old one. My old one was half the price....

This product does off gas, so you will need to let it air out for several days before using it. I paid extra for the upgraded cooling cover. This topper ended up being made of the same material as my existing mattress, which is a memory foam and innerspring mattress hybrid. I have fibromyalgia and I was looking for a pillow top feel like I had with my previous plush innerspring mattress. This product made our mattress too tall and it did not have enough give to it. If you make this purchase, be sure to read to the bottom of the page. While the main Tempur-Pedic search page states that there is a try it out policy, this does not apply to the mattress toppers. It was an expensive purchase and we are unable to use it.

As far as comfort, the matress topper is good....The down side is the topper shifts on the matress. There should be expandible corner ties or a material like velcro that would hold onto the matress and keep it in place. It becomes frustrating to realign the topper every morning. Bottom line, I should have returned it to Temperpedic if they would allow.

It's comfortable but about 2" too short on one side and an inch too short on another. It also doesn't fit properly in the cover. Tight on one corner and loose on the other. Also, IDK if we were sent the non-cooling topper by accident but there is absolutely no cooling feeling. I'd say save your money and don't spring for that "upgrade". Keeping it bc it would be a tremendous pain to return. Not the worst topper ever but our Molecule was better. Thought we're were trading up...
