Nothing special like all the amazzzzzzzzing reviews I was reading. I bought it because the reviews were great. But I was disappointed. The set up was annoying. I got mine with the cooling gel cover. So putting it together was so odd. Took me about 45 mins to unwrap the thing from all the plastic, let it take form and then put it in the cover. In terms of functionality, it makes you sink in a lot. I was expecting to sink in because of memory foam but I'm not sure how I feel about it. I do however like the cooling effect of the cover just not the mattress topper itself if that makes sense. Like I wouldn't recommend it I would just recommend the cover.

Sleeping on the product is wonderful. Just the right firmness. However, it won't stay centered on my mattress. Every couple of days I have to strip the bed an re-center the topper on the mattress. Very annoying! So I would give it 5 stars for comfort but 1 star for convenience hence the 3 star review. Not sure it was worth what I paid for it.

Pros: Genuinely comfy Cons: even with the cooling topper, it makes sleeping warmer. It slides around on top of the mattress with no obvious way to anchor it in place. Also causes the fitted sheets to slip. Maybe it deserves 4 stars? I debated. I don't regret purchasing it - I do find it like sleeping on a cloud - but I've had to drop my house temp a degree or two at night and every couple days I have to shift it back in place. Also, my extra deep pocket fitted sheets, which never used to come undone are now also shifting out of place regularly. TLDR: comfy but warm and unable to stay in place

I was under the impression that Tempurpedic toppers gave a more stabilizing effect, since they are so expensive! My old memory foam cost 1/3 of the price and was so much better!! Maybe I didn't order the correct type or something, and it is a well made product, but I was truly expecting something better for the money it cost.

The topper provides some additional support and cushion to an aging mattress. However, the fabric used to cover the topper material is cheap and doesn't stay in place. I have to stretch the fabric back over the shape of the topper when changing linens.

I absolutely love my tempur-pedic bed. I purchased the mattress topper bc it said that it would keep me cooler at night; well I was very disappointed in the topper. Albeit, it's very comfortable, that's not why I bought it. I already have the bed, so I really didn't need the topper, but it guaranteed that it would keep me cooler, well it doesn't. I've tried 4 different types of sheets thinking that was it, but still not cooler. Save your money on the topper and just buy the bed.

Buttery Soft Indeed Easing Back Pain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This topper was my first experience with Tempur-Pedic products. I was pleasantly amazed with its absolute buttery softness. Ten stars! The cooling experience is more about not heating up when laying for long periods rather than actual cooling, but this is a gem. Another ten for materials engineering! BEST part is my husband and I both used to wake every morning with severe back pains and that's gone. I sleep either on my side or stomach, he is a side and back sleeper. A few years in now and can say the construction is still quality, as when we first bought it, and is effortless to wash. The only thing that doesn't thrill is how it looks on the bed; always sliding out of place making it obvious we have a topper under the sheets. Also, we have a 14" mattress and I don't know why but only the 20" deep-pocket sheets will stay fitted on, all others cause the sheet edges to pop off after a night's sleep. Quite annoying but the function and life-changing improvements to our back pain helps reorient us to what's important, knowing nothing is perfect, which helps us answer the question "what more can we ask for". Thank you Tempur-Pedic for a product no one out there has been able to match.

After sleeping on a inferior topper I decided to give the Tempur Adapt + Cooling Topper a try. After one night we could tell the difference and our aches and pains have now diminished by switching. The topper has the comfort and design and well as we sleep cooler now. Would highly recommend this topper for a great night sleep!
