It has been pretty nice and is kind of cooling. I get hot easily, so the cooling cover helps. There is only one major issue. It moves..... a lot. Since it doesn't come with a mattress pad to secure it to the bed (like my previous one did) and it is recommended NOT to use one, it moves and disrupts the fitted sheets. So much so, that my fitted sheets keep coming off which is extremely annoying. With my old topper, it was a lot heavier and thicker so it couldn't really go anywhere. This topper moves frequently. I may just use a mattress pad to secure it better or duct tape. The topper is a decent topper. It supports my bad back fairly well. If you want to go price and comfort comparing, if possible, test them out in person. Even if that well-known mattress shop is a front for something else, they still have real products to test. Overall, if you really want one, you might just go for the mattress. The topper will be cooler, though. Unfortunately, I am not being compensated for my honest review. I would like to be as I need to do dishes and my plumbing needs work.

Finding a mattress that helps a bad back is hard.... Too soft or too hard of a mattress support and my back will hurt. I was very discouraged sleeping in chronic pain, Until I discovered my tempurpedic cool topper. A complaint game changer. My mattress is absolutely heavenly. I'm so happy to have discovered this, bc nothing else had worked in the 14 years of searching to relieve my back pain. Now I can sleep on my sides and my back is supported; FYI my mattress is on the firm side. Plus I love the cooling effect. Since I sleep warm. Initially there was a smell to the topper upon opening, but that dissipated with in a week. Still this was an amazing find as nothing helped with the pain I used to sleep with.

We love it, wish our whole mattress was this! The only down fall is it is a topper and moves around alot. We ordered the cali-king and it is not full fitting, sides are about 4 inches short on each side. Other than size, the topper is amazing.

I am floating , it immediately hugs your pressure points for relief. I love it. I noticed I am not tossing and turning at night. It was purchased before the mattress to see if it would be worth it, it will definitely be worth it can't wait to get a tempur mattress.
