While the mattress topper is soft and comfortable initially and works okay for one person, if two people are sleeping in the bed it tends to dip in the middle. It doesn't seem firm enough to prevent this. This topper is not what I was expecting when I bought it. I thought it was the same topper I had seen elsewhere being heavy and firm. This topper is that, it's lighter and more spongy. The other thing I don't like about the cooling outer cover is 1) it doesn't seem all that cool unless you lay directly on the cover and 2) any sheet I have tried slides around on it so I've ended up putting a mattress pad on top of the topper and a sheet on that and that mostly works but probably negates any "cooling" effect of the topper. They don't accept returns so I'm stuck with it. Had I known then what I know now I wouldve done more research and made sure I was getting the firm, original tempurpedic mattress topper.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comfortable, helped my hip and shoulder pain, but it sleeps hot even though it states "cooling topper". Also, the topper slides all over the place, needs to have some gripper material on the bottom to prevent the topper sliding around every time you move.

This product has greatly improved our comfort while sleeping for two people with bad backs. That being said... the fitted sheets constantly pop off!!! It is so frustrating. This did not happen prior to using the topper and they are sheets for deep beds

This mattress topper is very comfortable, though not sure it has any real cooling qualities. My biggest issue is that the topper slides down every night and has to be pulled back up to the top. As the topper is a pretty heavy item, this is not that simple of a task. Wish there had been straps or something that connected and went under the main mattress to keep the topper in place.

Our mattress was only 2 years old. The topper made it so much better. Our hips and shoulders hurt every morning. The topper cured that. It stays in place and doesn't have to be moved when we change sheets. Highly recommend it.
