Comfortable but Not cooling

I bought the topper to help with the temperature of my bed in the night. The topper is cool to the touch but it does not stay cool. It is very comfortable so I do like it

As a side sleeper who prefers a firm mattress my hips were hurting in the morning. We purchased this topper based on the reputation of the Tempur products. Our sleep has been wonderful from night #1 onwards. Gonna buy another for the cottage!

The topper made a uncomfortable mattress tolerable, but it keep sliding off, even with a good quality mattress cover on it. I could not live with having to reset it twice a week and returned it.

This topper with the cooling addition feels wonderful! But, every morning I have tug and pull and straighten it out while I make the bed. Yes- I am OCD about my bed, but my husband leaves a huge divet/wrinkle in this thing every day that I never had to deal with before while making the bed. I still think the aggravation is worth the comfort it provides. My joints (hips especially) don't hurt as much at night now!

I kept the old one ( since '86 ) because the increased stiffness was good for the back. I find belly up leaves the back a little cooler than I would prefer, but a belly down position is perfect. I have indoor A/C. It's really an individual call as to whether this product is right for you.

The topper does compress quite a bit in areas with high pressure, but this is only if you put all your weight over a small surface area. This product is cheesy for people looking to bring life back to an old mattress, or need to soften one that's too firm.
