I bought this as my mattress was getting too old and hard for my liking but I wasn't ready to splurge for a whole new mattress. I thought it was pretty comfortable at first but I like softer surfaces. I had less back pain waking up in the morning which was great. But my husband hated it. It was WAY too soft for him and he felt like he was constantly being sucked into it and starting waking up with shoulder pain. We tried to get used to it but his discomfort was getting worse and even I started feeling like I needed more support. So unfortunately it has been sitting folded up in the corner of our room because we aren't sure what to do with it. I wouldn't recommend unless you like REALLY squishy beds.

Comfortable, but Cooling Topper Isn't Worth It

The mattress pad is comfortable as you would expect, but the extra money spent on the cooling topper isn't worth it. It's my opinion that the topper should be included for free with the mattress pad and even then it might be too expensive. So, it's fine if you want comfort but look elsewhere if you want cooling.
