I recently bought a firm mattress which is way to firm as a matter of fact down right hard and hurt to sleep on. I researched mattress toppers and bought the Tempura cooling. It is very comfortable, very happy that I bought this product.

I have had a mattress previously so I decided I would get a temurpedic topper for bed I have now and so far have been very disappointed. It doesn't really feel like there is any difference with it on and the "cooling" cover doesn't keep you cool nor does it fit the topper very well, it's to big. Would not purchase again and would have returned it if I could.

I bought a bottom of the line $500 mattress, added the 3" TEMPUR-Adapt and it's great. We use the cover it came with and no sheet for maximum "cooling" effect. Have recommended to others already.

Mattress topper is excellent, feels weightless laying on it BUT it came with a horrible chemical smell that kept me awake all night. Ripped it back off the next morning. Hopefully a week or two in the laundry room will air it out :|

I have what is called DISH of the spine where calcification of my lower spine results in spinal fusion. To avoid pain while sleeping I must sleep on my side, never on my back. Over the years I have kept buying and changing mattresses and toppers to stop extreme pain from developing during the night (usually resulting in having to take Tramadol to stop the pain and allow me to sleep). The mattresses/toppers have always been firm since I thought a soft one would just allow my spine to misalign. Then I read about material developed by Tempur-Pedic for NASA's use in space programs and then continued to develop it for commercial use. So, after reading user reviews I decided to try their Tempur Adapt + Cooling Topper. The first night I slept on it: no pain. I did get some pain the second night, but it was due to how I had adjusted my body that second night to the new topper. I had read some reviews that indicated it was difficult to move around on the topper and I found it could be unless you figured out how best to do it: the second night I had not yet figured out how to adjust my body to the best sleeping position. After that second night I have never had another night with any pain (and no need for the Tramadol). This is so great after years of night pain. My Termpur topper is on top of a 11-inch hybrid firm mattress. When I Can afford it I plan to purchase the Tempur ProAapt Soft mattress to replace my current hybrid and topper.

Even though you may get slightly warm, the comfort is worth it all! I put straps on my sheets so it doesn't slide. Wouldn't trade for the world

I have a tempur-pedic adapt mattress and bought this topper to help with the life of the mattress but this topper is softer than the mattress and isn't good for my husbands bad back (although for me I fall asleep fast on it). This topper slides off the mattress and I bought a non slid thin pad for underneath and it still slides. Every morning I have to go under the sheets and put the topper back into place. I will call tempur-pedic to see what they recommend. I thought this topper was firmer than the Supreme but I'm not sure now. We had a supreme mattress before and they told me the adapt mattress was firmer, so I thought the adapt topper would be firmer. Thinking about taking this off the bed completely. My husband is disappointed as he is the one who sleeps on it for his bad back.
