My wife and I have had a Tempurpedic Mattress since 2004. That wonderful mattress was replaced by another Tempurpedic in 2018 that proved to be just too hard. We kept trying to adapt but always had sore shoulders and upper arms and hitches in our hips and lower backs. I was almost ready to rid ourselves of an expensive mistake when I read a review by someone who pointed out he had the same problem and it was solved by adding a "Tempur-Adapt+ Cooling Topper". I got the purchase approved with the argument, "what do we have to lose?" and about 2 weeks later we woke up without pain. Besides softening the surface of the firm mattress, it does nothing to turn it into an unstable soggy soft mattress. In fact if I had it to do again, I would order the firm mattress and the Tempur-Adapt + Cooling Topper at the same time for a Perfect Mattress.

This topper sinks you can't put a cover on it it's really hard to get comfortable don't even try to return it because the fine print says it cannot be returnable. Just a waste of money

Not what I expected at all, feels like a sponge, it slips and slides over the mattress. I expected a small amount of support given the material it's made of but that it's not the case. It sinks like crazy- back hurts. Anyways, I just wasted my money because I can't return it:-( oh! Almost forgot- there is absolutely nothing cooling about it...

I have had many mattress toppers and they are all the same, don't see any difference between a $80 topper to this one that is three times the cost. I paid extra for the adaptive cooling cover that somehow now makes me hotter instead of cooler. Lesson learned.
