This a wonderful product. One hour of elbow grease and done. My car is a 2006 and headlights lens were dull and rought to the tact. Now they look new and I can drive a night.

Outstanding Results

The results are almost unbelievably good, with the headlights looking like new. For the most part you can follow the directions that come with the kit, and as shown in the video. If your headlights are badly textured, you may need to purchase and start with 220 grit wet-or-dry sandpaper, as I did. Sand until the lens is a uniform light gray color when dried -- no yellow or clear areas. Then move up to the next finer grit. You will quickly create a new, finer haze, but with some residual scratches left in it from the coarser paper. Keep sanding until you have a uniform haze, with no deep scratches. Then move on to the next finer paper. If you move up too soon you will never get those scratches out. And be sure to use plenty of water, not the little spritz that's shown in the video. You need to keep the lens and the paper flushed in order to wash away any loose pieces of grit. Also, if you have not wet-sanded before, be careful of your fingers -- it's easy to sand right through your skin. While the front of the (folded) piece of sandpaper is sanding the lens, the back will be sanding your fingers. Don't wait until you see blood to put some tape around your finger tips!

Headlamp covers on GMC were so yellow I had a hard time see at night, had to use fog lamps... 30 minutes of elbow grease while sitting on curb and this restoration kit and head lamps look like new... Can not believe how simple process was and lamps are crystal clear. Will recommend to anyone needing brighter lighting at night and car appearance is much better as well...

I used this kit on the hazy, yellowing headlights on my 2011 Subaru Outback. They came out looking like new! Definately recommend.

I enlisted the help of my daughter to clean my headlights. You could totally do it by yourself, but she wanted to help. Read the directions carefully, follow them exactly, and watch the 8 min video beforehand. Very important to follow directions exactly as written. Don't try to shortcut on sanding times. It sounds kind of overwhelming when reading the directions, but it's really not. We used a squirt bottle which worked fine. The results were fantastic!! I drove home from my daughter's home that night. Lots of dark, curvy, winding roads & had no problems. Could see the road soo much better! And a lot less glare from oncoming cars' lights. Sorry this is soo long, but I wanted to write this & not leave anything out. ( We wrote the directions out. & Set them on the hood while working. That helped a lot! And also each had a chair to sit on while working. Shared the squirt bottle which worked out fine.)
