Terrible

Bought the kit a couple of months ago , decided to try it today. Followed the instructions and did both headlights, bad decision as they are ruined , it's absolutely rubbish just got very cloudy headlights now.

Thank you for contacting us. We apologize for any inconvenience. Since you've just completed all of the restoration steps, we suggest waiting a few days for the UV Block Clear Coat to fully cure before trying the following.
Using 2000 grit sandpaper, begin by lightly sanding the entire lens surface with even, circular motions. Next, rinse lens thoroughly with clean water, making sure to remove dust and lose particles. Dry lens completely with a lint-free towel. Finally, re-apply an even coat of UV Block Clear Coat across entire lens. This should give you excellent, long-lasting results.

Although a little time consuming, this kit did a terrific job of clearing up the extremely cloudy headlight lenses on my 14 year old car. I've used the Sylvania kits on two vehicles and it worked perfectly both times.

I Tried Everything - Sylvania's Is The Best

Sylvania's headlight restorer is the best, by far. Sylvania's solution requires a couple of steps the others don't, but clearly these steps are needed, and the key to Sylvania's superiority. A critical eye would probably discern that the restored headlights aren't brand new, but the results are excellent, better than the competition's, and for a typical viewer, as near to new as one can get.

Wow, just wow!

I have tried all the weird attempts to clean the headlights on my 07 xTerra. I should have started with this product. Wow! Amazing the difference. Just follow the easy directions and you will be amazed.

Works great! I was skeptical until I tried this kit. Do drape and tape your car, you don't want to get the activator or clearcoat chems on the paint. Clearcoat carefully in one swipe for streak-free.

Fantastic results with a bit of elbow grease

I just finished my 19 year old BMW 330Ci. The headlamps were a mess due to a previous attempt by a rank amateur to fix the yellowing lenses with unevenly applied clear spray paint. Using the Sylvania kit it took quite a bit of work to remove the paint and the old yellowed coating, but eventually they came clean. It's a bit scary doing the sanding because between and after each polishing coat the lenses are pretty hazy and opaque. However, after applying the final step, the lenses became miraculously clear, looking virtually like new. I am totally impressed. I can't help but believe that the folks giving bad reviews didn't follow the instructions carefully and completely. This is a great product.

I bought a scrap yard headlight and it was faded and pitted so I bought this kit and it was easy to use and it turned out great, I did not use the 450 grit sand paper but I did used the 1000 grit and then went to the 2000 . I did everything according to the instructions except the 450 grit sand paper. I turned out great and looks new again.
