I love this vacuum! The only reasons I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 are the battery life and the power button.
First, the battery doesn't last long enough for me to clean my entire house on a single charge. For a vacuum at this price point, I think it should include a second battery.
Second, I wish the power button was an on/off switch instead of having to continuously hold the trigger. I currently have carpal tunnel syndrome from pregnancy, so holding it down for an extended period becomes uncomfortable.
Other than those two issues, I truly love this product. It's incredibly lightweight, easy to maneuver, and not bulky at all. My favorite feature is the Fluffy cleaner head with the green laser—it highlights dust and dirt you can't even see with the naked eye. It's amazing to see how much it picks up, and it leaves my floors feeling incredibly clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's well made and does a good job of picking up dirt, but how in the world does it not have a simple on/off switch?? You have to hold the trigger down the entire time you are using it. That gets tiresome after 15 minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've only had this for a short time. So far we like everything about it. I do wish the switch for vacuuming would stay on and not have to hold it down constantly. Otherwise it's very nice.

On hard wood floors this is the best Dyson. The debris detection is amazing. Empty of dust is easy. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is changing to rug cleaning is a pain. I have to turn the Dyson upside down or sideways to change and that is not easy for my wife and then do the same to return to floor.
