Great Vacuum with one annoying flaw

We love the vacuum, it works well and we love the detect feature. I'm surprised that Dyson didn't put on some way to keep it running without always holding the trigger. That part is annoying if you're cleaning for an hour. There's countless people selling trigger adapters online to fix this issue but that should tell Dyson something. Outside of that minor thing, the vacuum has been great so far.

Major Performance Improvements

The V15 Detect is our ninth Dyson vacuum cleaner of which we still have two V11 which we regularly use as well. This is the most powerful Dyson to date and also one of the quietest. Suction is outstanding and the Fluffy Optic cleaner head with green laser is our “go to” cleaning head for all of our wood floors. The laser illuminates the floor so well, not only do I more effectively vacuum on hardwood floors but the laser also detects “spots” for subsequent moping which are not readily noticeable to the human eye. I also am impressed with the filtration system which provides visual evidence of what is being “ingested” by the filter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the Dyson V15 detect. My last one was a V10 that I had since 2019 and was time to replace. I love the light on the V15 that shows all the dust and hair on my floor. Love how there are 2 separate heads for tile and carpet now

This is an excellent vacuum. The hard floor attachment with its blue light shows a terrifying amount of missed dust. My only complaint is you have to remove the vacuum tube in order to dump the canister and it takes Herculean strength and stepping on the floor attachment to pull it apart.

I’ve had my Dyson for a month and I truly love it. It is easy to handle and I’ve used it all over the house. My only complaint is I wish it came with larger storage for all of the attachments. Other than that it’s been great.

I don’t like where the button to run it is on the trigger. I also don’t like that it is very hard to push on rugs to vacuum, I have to switch it , to I think auto , whichever is the weakest setting so I can push it.
