This is my third Dyson and a replacement of that was at least 10 years old that I dropped. It hung on for a couple of years but it was time to let it go. My favorite features are the auto sensor which works great (a nice surprise), and the particle illumination on the hard floor works very well even in daylight. I deducted a star because the carpet head quits working on my throw rugs and my thin ruggable rugs even though the vent is set to high air. I find that very frustrating because that's where the hair detangler would be most important.

This is a refurbished machine, normally I do not purchase refurbished machines, but this is an awesome machine. I've always wanted to try a Dyson, but they are pricey. This picked up so much dust and dirt from my carpet, that I have been using a Roomba on for a while. It was amazing. I'm a satisfied customer. The only thing that I do not like about it is that you have to take the wand off in order to disengage and empty the gunk out. I have another lightweight cordless vacuum that enables you to push a button and empty the bag with everything still attached, but the suction, OMG, can't beat that suction. I love my Dyson!

Perfect vacuum for retired couple in 2 story house

We are a couple of retirees living in a two story house with wooden floors. The wooden floor attachment for the new vacuum has a laser light that shows where we need to focus our attention to keep the floors clean. Does a great job! It’s perfect for cleaning the stairs without dragging a cord along. We purchased the attachment to easily clean under cabinets and beds without having to bend over so much. Battery life is good, and we fill the dust container at least twice per charge. And we LOVE the laser based tracker that counts all the particles (by size) being picked up. That tells us a lot about why dust allergies used to flare up before the new vacuum.

We bought this after thorough research. We also have a Dyson that must be 20 years old and trust the name. As many others before us have said, the green light technology is phenomenal! But the style, selection of attachments, and convenience of switching the attachments is also phenomenal. We were able to find this on sale which made it work for our budget. We love it! Great product!

We bought the Dyson V15 one month ago and I continue to be impressed EVERY day I use it! The features are unmatched. The green light dust detection shows me where hair, dust, and dirt are that I may have missed before. The suction changes based on the particle size and how much dirt the vacuum is detecting, saving battery life and extending runtime. The vacuum is lightweight and very easy to carry upstairs. For a family with 2 under 2, this vacuum has made cleaning far more fun for me. Certainly an investment you won't regret.
