I purchased for our new home. We are now one level living in a townhome villa. We have area rugs. The vacuum states that it will do carpet and flooring. I can’t seem to use it on carpet, think or thin. It is excellent on the floors and I love the green light to show areas that I would have missed. I don’t want to buy another vacuum just for the carpet. I may have chosen a different model. Hope this is helpful

I recently purchased the Dyson V15 vacuum, and overall, I'm quite pleased with its performance. I'd give it a solid 4 stars.
One of the standout features for me is the attachment with the green light. It's a game-changer when it comes to cleaning my LVP (luxury vinyl plank) floors. The green light makes it easy to spot dust and debris, ensuring a thorough clean every time. It's a thoughtful addition that I've come to appreciate.
However, I did have slightly higher expectations when it came to the vacuum's power. While it does a good job picking up dirt and dust, I thought it would be a bit more powerful, especially for its price point. It doesn't quite match up to my previous vacuum in terms of sheer suction force.
That said, the Dyson V15 is still a reliable and convenient cleaning tool.
