I bought this vacuum at ABT Just over a week ago. After using the Dyson vacuum, I found that it does have great suction. It also has a variety of tools to enhance your cleaning. However, it’s very hard for me to use. The Vacuum is very top heavy because that’s where It’s placed in the charger. Also, you have to hold the trigger the whole time you vacuum. There is no on/off switch. Therefore, it’s hard for me to handle the vacuum. My finger gets cramped and my arm hurts. You can’t vacuum a large area because of the fatigue of using the machine with the awkwardness of holding the trigger the whole time and the weight of the top of the vacuum. I’m very disappointed with this purchase.

Do not like how loud the head is when it spins. It's very loud and clunky. The V15 we bought 2 years ago was much better in this regard. The suction even on the lowest setting and raising the head to the highest level off the floor is too strong for carpets - even thin mats. Would like to see a lower suction setting - or just bump all the suction levels down (we never need to use the "boost" mode; it's way more than necessary).

We’ve own 2 other Dyson vacuum cleaners, but I am obsessed with the Dyson V15. You might believe your wood floor is spotless… trust me, it’s not, and the V15 proves it. The light shows all of the micro particles still on the floor. The battery life is longer too. Love this machine for many reasons.

I love the green light and attachment that shows dust and dirt as I vacuum. I don’t like the rug attachment; suction, even when adjusted is strong and difficult to vacuum efficiently. And please tell me why I have to keep my finger on the go trigger?!! It would have been so simple to have a tab to hold that in place. And cleaning is not efficient. You need a small brush to remove all the debris at the top.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this about a month ago and love how easy it is to vacuum floors daily, I especially love the green light to see hair and dust I can’t see with the naked eye. I only wish the crevice tool had light as well.
