I love the vacuum's power, but do not like the way the stick connects into the dust bin. I preferred the way the Animal 8 connected. Hopefully this type of attachment is sturdy enough to last.

After experiencing the portability and power it had (in our home), we bought a second Dyson V15 Detect for the family lake house. We simply love the portability and power. Not having a to wrestle with a cord is wonderful. Even though at times we wished the battery would last longer; like any new tool, you learn to work with its limitations. The rug and upholstery attachments are great but hardwood floor attachment is the best. With the dust illuminating LED, you can remove the everyday dust and allergens not otherwise seen.

This has been a great vacuum so far. It has really done a great job. It picks rather then just moving stuff around. It even picks up the fine dust in Arizona. I especially like that it is cordless.

I have had the Dyson V15 for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it! The light is a game changer, though I'm always stunned when I see how much dust and cat hair is on the floor. The suction is great and I like the fact that the battery lasts longer than in my old one, plus you can see how much time is left on it. I also have a V10, which I moved upstairs so I don't have to use my plug in vacuum all the time. So while I've only had it a few weeks, so far I am absolutely delighted with it. All the attachments are great as well!

This is our 3rd Dyson vacuum. They are terrific. I appreciate the new feature for the Dyson V15 with the Detect feature. I had no clue all the the things that I couldn't see before on my wood floors. Love this attachment.
