I love the vacuum especially the motorized roller with light. I love that I can see the dirt and dog fur does not get stuck around the wheels. It's low profile is great for vacuuming under the furniture.The suction is great and the battery life is more than enough to vacuum my entire three bedroom house. The noise volume seems on par with other machines I have used.
The ergonomics of the grip are not great. The filter rests on the base of my thumb making vacuuming painful. I think adding a trigger lock would at the very least would let you adjust hand positions so the filter isn't resting on the same spot the entire time. I'm looking at other options like a shoulder strap to help with the problem, because it is the best vacuum for pet hair I've ever used.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome machine: we used it on a carpet that had been cleaned with another vacuum and it picked up so much more dirt and hairs, we couldn't believe how much additional dirt and hairs was still left. I hope it lasts us a long time. I just wished it brought an additional holder for the other attachments.

This is my 2nd V15. I had a hard problem trying to take off the long stick from the main unit. It went on for months and still had a major problem taking it off. So I returned it. I got the new one a month ago and still having issue but not nearly as bad as my first one. I do love the unit when I get it right.

Phenominal for Hard Floors...not so good on carpet

I've had for a few weeks and for hard floors, it is phenominal! However, I bought it under the impression from advertising videos, the box...that it also vacuums carpets. It doesn't. It isn't powerful enough to vacuum my carpets NOR the carpet runners. It just will not get going on these.
