Love this vacuum. I was waiting for my 20 year old Dyson to die. It never did. I just couldn’t carry it up and down stairs.

it is much heavier than my V8, the suction is powerful. I don't like the on and off button, need to constantly hold it while vacuum. It is better to make it just a simple push on and push off.

My husband got this for me. There are some up points but also some down points. Compared to my corded version this just doesn’t have the same suction. It struggles with transitions from the hard wood to the carpet and it doesn’t have enough battery charge to do my house without a 45min recharge. That being said it is so much lighter than the corded option and it makes cleaning the stairs so much simpler. The other downside is side is the smaller canister. I do have to empty multiple times that being said I have two very large dogs and a larger floor plan. All and all it’s very nice

I have been pleasantly surprised by this stick vacuum. It does a great job cleaning under the auto mode, and we most frequently use it for daily after-dinner kitchen clean ups as well as pet areas. Please note, however, after researching cordless vacuums, I purchased this one because it probably had the best chance of being able to do something I've long wished for of a cordless--a quick vacuum job of our entire home on a single charge. We have an upright vacuum (with a cord) which I typically use for vacuuming the house. Nevertheless, a few days ago I tried to vacuum the entire house with the Dyson V15 and it worked! We don't have a big house (1375 sq ft), but I was able to do a nice job on it--carpet, tile, and laminate--with 9 minutes of battery time to spare. During this attempt, I also used the pet hair attachment on furniture. I was impressed!

This is my 3rd Dyson product. I love it the suction is great and the light helps detect the finest of pet hairs that I probably wouldn’t have seen without it. The battery life is great I have a 2000 square foot house and am able to vacuum the entire house on one charge

So far so good. The only negative thing we found is the attachment for carpets won’t work on one of ours- the pile is too dense and it doesn’t move on it even at the highest setting . We like the floor attachment with the light and the attachment to do baseboards. It’s quieter than our DC44.

We've only had our Dyson V15 for a week, but so far -- we love it! Great suction, lightweight, quiet. That green light will, hopefully, make me feel better about our cleaning. Right now it's pointing out so much dirt, I'm a bit horrified with what we've thought was clean! The old vacuum definitely needed replacing!
I have one suggestion, however. I'd like a trigger guard of some kind that I can flip into place when needed, such as when I'm carrying the vacuum up stairs. I keep grasping the handle and accidentally activating the trigger.
But like I said, we're loving this vacuum!
