This All In One printer was an easy set up. The ink renewal features is a wonderful perk for me. Still using the start up ink cartridges after printing a number of photos..The printer is a bit slow to respond and slightly noisy compared to my last printer. However, nothing that would keep me from recommending it to a friend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A great printer at a great price. The scanning, especially double sided is slow. The Iris OCR software for the Mac is horrible. Use PDFScanner or something else.

Happy with new all in one printer

I have been using HP multifunction printers for almost two decades. This is certainly the most advanced and easiest to use. My internet strength is irregular so sometimes I need to switch to the email print option which is great. Copies and printed materials are good quality. "Keyboard" for inputting address data is way too small, but all in all it is a very good machine. I hope it uses ink economically - we'll see!

This printer does a great job. However I have bought more than 3 printers in ink!! HP needs to address this issue.

Device OK, print cartridges suck

I purchased this printer to replace an older printer of a different type that was no longer functioning effectively. I had used HP printers before and thought this one looked good. The particular feature I liked was the Wifi, allowing the printer to be used by multiple devices. This part is OK, but I was not so sure about the HP "instant ink" program; however, I went ahead with the free trial, which recently expired. It seemed to work OK at first, but then the large black ink cartridges provided in the program began to clog and stop printing in the middle of jobs. This has happened several times, and it requires laborious printhead cleaning in order to get the printer to work, which creates unacceptable delays when there are deadlines for print jobs. I would not buy this printer again, and I would not recommend the HP instant ink cartridges.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's fantastic. Love the remote printing, but at times it takes quite awhile to print. 100% better than the previous brand I purchased.
