This series had been re-designed to allow user replacement of print heads. Previous HP print head failure was premature, but replacement was costly. Very impressed with HP attention to the supporting software which is important for a user to utilize various functions without guessing, etc. As always, the ink level monitoring is helpful.

Overall good but short of OfficeJetPro 8600 it replaced. Really uses ink quickly, at least the supply that comes with it. That part is a real downer.

I bought this printer because I am a teacher of students with multiple disabilities and I am not about to print much color at school. I also got it for its InstantInk feature. I love this feature! However I have had many issues getting it yo print properly from Google Chrome. If I download the document to a PDF and print from adobe, it prints fine but everything is shifted when I print from Chrome.

The printer is a great buy and works great. I especially love the document scan sheet feeder it allows for very fast scanning. The other feature I love although no pertaining to this particular model is the Instant Ink feature, not having to run to the store to purchase ink and not running out of ink during a printing session is a fantastic feature that I have bragged about to many people. I normally don't do reviews but I am so pleased with the printer and Instant Ink that I gladly spread the word.
