This was bought to replace my HP 7640 printer. There had been no issue with the 7640 and gave it to my son. With all the different brands on the market I thrust HP the most.!! HP always has been the best in my book and that's why I bought the 6978 HP.

I bought this printer because it is faster than my last one and it can scan double sided. That is a great feature for my home office. Even on normal print mode it is faster than my old printer on draft mode. I also really like the Instant Ink program.

I purchased this printer online from HP a month ago and have been pleased with its performance and ease of setup and use. I've had HP printers for many years and have high expectations of their reliability and performance. Particularly in front/back printing, scanning and other select design functions. I subscribe in the Instant Ink program and am VERY please with that! Never run out of ink or pay to much at retail for what I need, when I need it. The price is cheaper letting HP manage the ink needs.

I bought this over a month ago and still do not have it set up because it’s not as easy as the directions say. I work six day weeks and don’t feel like spending hours on the telephone with the service department.
