Needed a new printer and have had several HP, so I thought I'd give this one a try. It's WIFI, so it gives me flexibility, for a variety of devices. I've had it a couple of weeks and so far no problems. Stays connected to my WIFI and works with my PCS, Microsoft Surface, IPADs and IPHONES.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Happy with new all in one printer

I have been using HP multifunction printers for almost two decades. This is certainly the most advanced and easiest to use. My internet strength is irregular so sometimes I need to switch to the email print option which is great. Copies and printed materials are good quality. "Keyboard" for inputting address data is way too small, but all in all it is a very good machine. I hope it uses ink economically - we'll see!

A great printer at a great price. The scanning, especially double sided is slow. The Iris OCR software for the Mac is horrible. Use PDFScanner or something else.

My new HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 is fantastic. I have gotten good results so far. It was also very easy to set up. I definitely would recommend this printer to others.

Easy to set up / connect, very good print quality

I am not a lover of technology and am "that guy" that enlists his nephew or niece or younger co-workers to set up his technology. Setting up this printer on my own was easy to do - I just followed the "quick start" guide and the on-screen prompts.
The print quality is very good considering how little it costs and that it is an ink-jet printer.
