Beautiful Taj

Like it was stated in other reviews, this set is very repetitive but the final product is absolutely beautiful. I love the symmetry of the Taj and the color combination. This is a must have set for any Lego fan.

Repetitive build

I haven’t actually finished this build yet because it is so huge and also repetitive, lots of breaks are required so you don’t get bored of it.
I am disappointed that the instruction book started falling apart 3/4 of the way through the build, possibly due to having to flip back and forth between pages so much? The book would have been a lovely part of the display for this build, but not with pages missing and falling out.

I was so excited Lego decided to release this set again, as I had been wanting it for many years but was hesitant to spend the steep price for it. I think the current price, especially considering the size and number of pieces, is appropriate. While the build is a little repetitive, it is still satisfying to see such a large structure come together. I love the symmetrical design. The amount of detail in this set is truly amazing. The base also splits apart and the middle section comes out to allow for easier transport. This is definitely one of my favorite sets.

Awesome until moving it

I loved building this kit. Many parts of it are very challenging to assemble. If I were to criticize anything, it would be that after I completed the build, I was moving the bottom portion and it disconnected at the seams and I dropped it. I essentially got to build the bottom part twice. All in all though, it is a beautiful piece and I am excited to display it for many years to come.
