This set was an incredible build!! It now sits proudly in my house and everyone who sees it is in awe of its presence. It wasn’t that hard of a build, but it was so fun to do!!

What’s not to like?

Outstanding display piece that provides a challenging building experience for an adult. As a bonus, it hasn’t generated mini-fig debates amongst ‘adults’ and there is no tortured storyline like you get with the modular building series. Keep these large piece count buildings coming!

Taj Mahal

I am actually writing this on behalf of my daughter's experience. (There is no category for her age--she is 12--so I selected the closest option.) She received this kit for Christmas and is enjoying the build immensely; she is about a third of the way through the structure after spending part of a couple of days on it. I believe her enjoyment disproves the idea that this set is inaccessible to children. In the past she has also built the tower bridge, Big Ben, palace cinema, detective's office, Parisian Restaurant, pet store, and others. The Taj Mahal is one of her favorites!

Fun and Challenging with Beautiful Results

After working with legos throughout pretty much all of my childhood, I wanted to return to them as an older person. I'm really glad that I chose this set to come back to, because it really was a great experience. First, I want to note that building this feels like nothing else I've ever built before, even when I would build large sets as a kid. The build itself isn't that hard once you get the hang of it, because the parts are built four times each. The first time might be a little confusing, but it truly is easier than you would think. It took me six days to build it, but I built it on and off for only an hour or two per day. I would recommend this to anyone who grew up with legos and wants to return to them, but I would not recommend this to younger builders, because they would easily get frustrated with this. As for value for money, I would say it's decent. It is a very nice looking final product, and the price really isn't all that bad. Anyway, this is a solid 10/10 build. It's fun, it's rather challenging, and it looks amazing. If you're thinking about buying it, then just do it.

Beautiful Set
on January 22, 2021

The Lego Taj Mahal is a beautiful set! I enjoyed putting it together and it is very fun to show off. Like many others, I added a lighting kit to really make it pop.
Assembly is repetitive due to the nature of the symmetrical design, but I still found it enjoyable.
