I bought the replacement castors to replace broken ones the only problem was my old castors had a round leg to insert and the replacements were in a square shell. But I could pull the castor out by its stem and replace into my existing form they work fine
These wheels fit perfectly. They are easy to install. Will likely need a flathead screwdriver or putty knife to pry the old one down. Suggest you remove the tank first, then lie the gill where the tank was.
My Weber Performer grill is 20 years old and still does perform well but the casters, made mostly of plastic, recently totally froze up so I was glad to see the exact replacement was still available from Weber. With a bit of prying and persuasion from a wood mallet I was able to remove the old pair of casters and press the new ones on. Easy.
These wheels are Much more smaller than the originals what gives

We appreciate your feedback regarding the casters. We are sorry to hear about your experience. It sounds like you may have the incorrect casters. We are happy to look into this further for you to see if there is a set that is more appropriate for your grill. Our Care team will be reaching out to follow up. Thank you!
The Weber Locking Caster needs to be cast in metal. The Caster is currently made in Plastic and is easily damaged. This is the third Caster I have purchased because the Caster fails.
