Love the thermostat

We had our thermostat installed and love the fact that we can control it and check it when we are away from home. It’s easy to set up a schedule on the app.

Bad hardware, stopped working in less than 3 mnts

Sad that Google is not keeping the hardware quality. Thermostat wifi chip stopped working in less than 3 months and I am still waiting for replacement unit.

Easy to install and control

I just use an hour to remove and install the nest thermostat.
It controls my house temperature more accurately.

Issues with the nest

I purchased this thermostat approximately one year ago I, I had a few bugs I had to work out but I figured them out , but the big problem I had was I purchased a new furnace and ac unit and I had a problem with the ac due to a loud rattling noise coming from the unit , I had the service guys come out 5 time to try to repair the ac unit .on the 5th time the service guy figured out the ac unit was turning off while it was running in cycle and this was due to the nest thermostat, we had to remove the nest and replace it with a basic thermostat. Bye bye nest my ac works better without the nest .

Awful product. It shuts down after 3 days of installation. Not a very smart product unfortunately.
