Quit cooling and needed to be reset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator worked well for the first 4 months. I just returned from a 5 day vacation to find the refrigerator at 55 degrees and the freezer at 35 degrees. I had to dispose of everything in the refrigerator and several items that were thawed in the freezer. After resetting the refrigerator it now is beginning to cool again. There was no alert through "smart things" that the refrigerator was not cooling. Be cautious of trusting this refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked great for 6/7 weeks....

Fridge full of spoiled food really stinks. cleaned and deodorized. plugged it back in and seemed fine. Couple weeks later again without warning, stopped cooling. After 4th time, repair man is scheduled to be here in 2 days. We'll see how it goes.

Samsung quality has gone down the tubes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must preface this review by saying that this is my second Samsung refrigerator. The first worked like a charm and lasted 10 years. I expected the same quality again. I have had this new refrigerator for less than months. It arbitrarily turns itself completely off, but the light is still on and the temperature reading says all is well. In the meantime, my food is thawing and being ruined. This has happed 6 times now. I am waiting on a repair person. The soonest I could get one was a 2 week wait. All I can say is that I will never buy Samsung again.

Fits my small kitchen!

Happy with one exception

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it last month and am happy so far with one exception. It is very difficult to store a gallon of milk on a shelf. It barely fits on the middle shelf and the shelf above it must be lifted slightly to get the container in/out. Literature says it can fit Gallon in the door but that is NOT optimal.

Modern fridge that saves space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new fridge fits in perfect since we’re updating all our kitchen appliances to Samsung. It has the modern look that fits in perfect. So far I’m really enjoying the fridge. It works great and looks nice. The 10 year warranty reassures me that I can enjoy it for many years to come!
My favorite feature is having three doors with built in handles. Previously, I had a single door fridge and when opened, the door blocked the entry way to kitchen, much to the annoyance of people trying to pass. These doors measure half as big, but they feel even smaller; much more practical and convenient to a smaller space.
The 17.5 cu ft of fridge space feels small, but it’s sufficient for a three person family. If in doubt, I would recommend going up in size. The middle and top door shelves and the main middle shelf have small adjustments up or down. The limited customization contributes to making it feel smaller; however, I can find a spot for everything so far. My other complaint is the lack of a cold water spigot; I would expect a fridge at this price to include one standard.
Overall, I’m impressed with the fridge and it meets all my needs. I’m especially impressed with how much less space the three door style uses. I definitely recommend it!

Freezer and Ice maker are bad

as many others have said it will just decide to stop cooling/freezing; in my case the problem has been the freezer specifically. the unit is less then a year old and i have had to defrost the freezer once already to get it working again, saddly as of today i worry ill be defrosting it a second time. we lost everything in the freezer the first time and just never used it again the second time luckly.
the ice maker is the worst design i have ever seen. you will knock ice behind the drawers when you open the freezer every time assuming the ice tray is full. the ice will all pile up and then upon opening it will hit the icemaker and get pushed behind.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
