[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was expecting it to be the same as my old pillow. Same model, it said "classic" so I assumed the tempurpedic foam would be the same. Not the same though. My original pillow was very hard, slowly softening with body warmth. In the winter, while camping, it was so hard in cold temps that you could easily knock someone out with it. Sounds odd but this is what I wanted. The new one is too soft. It feels like the one I already have that's had 10+ years of constant use. My old one got too soft so I thought I'd get another. But the new one already feels broke down. The shape is idential, so is the cover. The foam isn't. I like it, would even recommend it, but it's not "classic" if it's not identical, imo.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in so much pain with my neck and shoulder. Bought so many other pillows and none of them helped with the discomfort. The tempurpedic pillow has allowed me to get better rest, and my neck and shoulder pain has finally gone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've figured out you don't necessarily have to buy a whole mattress to fix your lower back and neck issues. Your mattress is too soft, and this will get worse every year. Your back will stay tense all night bracing itself without enough support from the bed itself, contributing to daily chronic pain. But if you have something comfortable and reliable to hold your head and neck in place, it serves as a scaffold for the rest of your body. It's like a flotation device while you're in bed. And the Temperpedic memory foam does feel like quality. It's been a game-changer for me. I went ahead and bought a small one for my daughter and for my wife. They appreciate it now, but I know they will appreciate it more as they get older.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased two pillows hoping it would alleviate my neck pain. Unfortunately, the pillow material is too hard. The material is not like my older pillow. I am disappointed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In 2004, I had surgery on my neck and had plates and screws inserted to repaired damaged vertebrae. Beginning then, and for the next 20 years, I have only slept on a Tempur-pedic pillow. It provides the perfect support for my neck and since I started sleeping on it, I have not had any neck or shoulder pain. I can sleep on my back and my side and it provides perfect support. I have a travel Tempur pillow that I take whenever I travel elsewhere! I can't recommend it enough!! The key is you have to get the right size so make sure you do the measurements as they advise..
Pillow is rock hard and doesn't budge when laying on in. Unfortunately I'm stuck with it cause it can't be returned. Also, don't trust measurements. I measured out to a large but it's too big and if I sleep on in my neck is crooked. Disappointed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had several Tempur-pedic neck pillows in the past. I like the firmness of my new Large Tempur-pedic pillow. I have more confidence with it that it will retain its shape.
