I don't leave reviews, I read them. However I have to leave one for these. I had a car accident 15 years ago. Back then my doctor recommended this for neck support and to help with my whip lash recovery. I thought it was expensive for a pillow but I was misserable and would try anything. Let me tell you it's the best $ you will spend!!! I can't sleep without it. I travel a lot and miss it. They are a bit heavey to carry in your luggage. I usually roll a towel up and just use that under my neck. But I'm finally going to get the travel size so I can use it on the plane and in hotel room. No more waking up with a stiff neck or head ache when I'm away from home!!!! When you think about how much time you will spend resting your head on it, it should be worth it and it is in every way. I use it for back sleeping and side sleeping. I usually use a regular pillow between or under my knees to get the full spine aligned and wake up without pain! I'll never go back to regular pillows again!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The only neck pillow that comes in a small size

I have disc problems and a pinched nerve in my neck. I buy this pillow every few years because it's the only one that comes in the small 3" tall size to support my neck. Other specialty pillows give me neck and head aches because they are too large/tall under my neck. I am 5'3". Thanks Tempur-pedic and please continue to make this size.
Pros: Comfortable, Good Support, Holds Shape, Soft Feel

Good, but a far cry from the older model

I've owned the previous Tempur-pedic Neck pillow with the creme top cover and have absolutely loved the comfortable sleep it's given me. I then purchased this pillow, and while it's still much better than any knock off brands, it does not have the same comfortable material or cover as the previous version.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've always been a back sleeper but I recently had neck surgery and was really having difficulty finding a pillow that would support my neck properly. I tried soft pillows, fluffy pillows, hard pillows, expensive memory foam pillows and none would do the job properly. I finally purchased the TEMPUR- neck pillow and found that it provides the support under my neck perfectly while providing a sense of softness. I don't use any other pillows at all now!

I have difficulty sleeping most of the time. My new TempurPedic pillow was a relief. I have everything I need for a good night sleep. Only problem I have .... I am extremely sensitive to chemical smells. Why does my pillow smell like it came out of a vat of chemicals from a factory? I have put every possible protective cover on the pillow, even doubled up and I still smell the chemicals. This is not good for sleep...I'm back to trying to find another expensive pillow I can buy and start over. At this cost it should smell like baby powder!

Neck Injury Relief

I suffered a neck injury (my second) due to a car accident in the Fall of 2007 where upon I bought this pillow. It took a few days to get used to it and to wear it in properly, but once it was worn in it was so comfortable and I have not been able to sleep comfortably without it since. I take it with me when ever I travel. It has lasted me 5 years, which is 2 more than it is guaranteed to last. Although it continues to offer me much more support than the average pillow, I am going to purchase a new one within the next couple of weeks and I can hardly wait to get back to the ultimate comfort that the pillow once offered me. Some day I will purchase a Tempur-pedic bed. I highly recommend this pillow.

Small neck pillow and Regular sidesleeper pillow

As someone with serious spinal problems, I love the comfort of the TempurPedic small neck pillow. I purchased a new one for myself, as well as also purchasing the side sleeper pillow for my husband - alas, we have not been able to use them because they are still emitting a horrific chemical stench! (It's been over a month since both pillows arrived). We have a TempurPedic bed, and really love the comfort it affords, but we do not recall the chemical odor being so overwhelming and strong. Have you changed your foam formula using cheaper materials, or worse, outsourced it to a developing country for profit's sake? We were seriously thinking of purchasing a new TempurPedic bed with the adjustable frame, but now we're not sure that we shall. Please return to your original formula.

I have been using a Tempur-Pedic small pillow for over 20 years. I have to replace them every 5 years or so, its well worth it. I have arthritis and have had whiplash from accidents twice over the year. This pillow helps me sleep like a baby and wake refreshed and pain free. No other pillow has been this comfortable!
