[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tested (at my own expense) the $200+ Tempur max height and firmness and it worked OK for side sleeping. However this pillow gave a better nights rest when slide sleeping. The larger rounded end is a perfect fit in the large for my shoulder length. Other brands I've tried in the past similar to this shape were too soft and could not support the weight of a persons head effectively. Tempurpedic has the firmness perfect on this pillow, it supports the weight of a persons head nicely. I'm always a cynic with products until I value it's worthiness. I give this side sleeper pillow 2 thumbs up, it works for me and I'm tough to work for.

In honesty, it felt like sleeping on a brick. I don't mean to be unkind but this is extremely uncomfortable, so I'm back to my original pillow. I would take it to Good Will, but I don't think they will take it either. Save your money.

I've had to go back to using my old pillows which is a bummer. As a side sleeper, I was so excited to use this pillow but unfortunately it came up short.
