Feels like a rock

I bought this to replace one I purchased a number of years ago. I loved that one but felt it was losing its density. They must make them differently now because when I lay on my side, my ear and side of my face feel like they are against a rock. I kept using it because I do like the neck support when I'm laying on my back and was hoping it would "break in". It's been a month and it's a little better, though still uncomfortable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

With a bad back and bad shoulder my husband loves this pillow. It took a week or so to get used to. It is a strange shape that he wasn't used to but now he can't sleep without it.

This is a very firm pillow. I believe it is perfect for providing neck support. Especially if you can easily get neck tension headaches. However, you must also prefer a firm pillow.

I ordered two medium pillows after measuring from neck to shoulder as instructed. Pillow is too hard and too high and gives me neck problems. I had such high hopes.

This pillow is tiny, too small to even look good in a standard pillowcase. I find myself having to move the pillow around with me when I change positions. Shape and comfort are great.
