[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Many reviewers had noted just how small this pillow was when used on a king-size bed. This was something I knew going forward, but it is worth saying that it is true, and this pillow is very, very small. As to the pillow itself, I found it very uncomfortable. I typically like a very firm memory foam pillow and had used a different brand for about 10 years now. It had seen better days so I wanted to give this Tempur Neck Pillow a try. Even though I like a firm pillow I found this extremely firm; too firm for my taste. I used the pillow for a week in hopes that I would get used to it and that it might soften up a little. After using it for 7 days, my neck was hurting and my sleep was suffering because of it so I stopped using the pillow. Unfortunately Tempur has zero return policy on any pillows, so I'm stuck with this pricy, unusable pillow. Both my wife and daughter gave it a try as well, but they too found it uncomfortable. I realize the reason there is no return policy, but it does make ordering a pillow here a risky option. You can't try it out, and if you don't happen to like it, you're out a significant amount of money. Again, I knew all of this up-front, but didn't expect the pillow to be this uncomfortable. I'm back to using my 10 year old pillow.

Exactly what I needed for my neck and shoulder pain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never really cared for the quality of pillows until I started to wake up with stiff necks and shoulder pain. I've had both of my shoulders injured due to football so shoulder pain wasn't as much of a bother as the stiff neck pain which came with it. I recently purchased the Temper-Pedic Large due to my broad shoulders. I have decided never to go back! I haven't woken up with any stiff neck or shoulder pain since the purchase.

Awful. Not the same foam as older models

I purchased 2 of these pillows 15 years ago. I take them with me everywhere when we travel. Absolutely love them. I was reluctant to order new ones reading both the good & bad reviews. Big mistake! Waste of money! Should not have ordered as the foam is completely different. It's super hard & does not conform to your body or get any softer with body heat. I have rods in my back from scoliosis surgery and my original temper pillows are the only pillows I can use to avoid neck & back problems. It's unfortunate that Tempur Pedic doesn't offer a satisfaction guarantee or replacement option for pillows. If you're expecting the new neck pillow to be as good as the older model....forget it. I'd give negative stars is possible.

I have used this pillow for years, but the new one is nothing like my old one. The new one is as hard as a rock, and I simply cannot get comfortable on it. I'm really disappointed that I bought one online because they do not allow returns on pillows.

Terrible pillow. Large size cushion is hard too but it's not as hard as medium... but I still very hard and I do not even want the large size. They are just tossed aside... useless
