At first I like the soft one; however when I got the firm one, it was not comfortable at the first week. After that, I get used to the firm pillow and like it. The firm one lets me sleep better than the soft one.

But once you place you head on it, you're asleep - period. I'm very pleased! It's like an extension to our tempurpedic bed!
