Hard as a rock

I purchased this to replace my ancient (20 years?) old contour pillow, and am shocked at how hard and unyielding it is. I like firm, but expect the Tempur material to soften and mold as it warms up. I cannot even use this pillow unfortunately. Very disappointed for such a pricey pillow.

I"m so disappointed in the new tempurpedic neck pillows. These pillows are not the same. The texture is harder and they shortened the length of the pillow alot. Why? Why change the material and the length. This is not the neck pillow that was the best on the market. This is a whole different pillow. Don't waste your money!

Have had sleepless nights because I feel like I am sleeping on a rock - there is no give. I'm hoping the pillow will soften a little and I will accommodate to it. What is curious is that I have purchased the neck pillow before and loved it, that is why I purchased again. Wondering if they changed something in manufacturing. I also have purchased many Temperpedic products and have loved them all.
