Different from old product

I bought this pillow to replace my old one from 2007/8. That old pillow helped me tremendouslyl with neck and shoulder pain. I was very disappointed with the new version. Felt softer and lighter and I woke up in the morning with neck pain. I am back to using my old pillow and my toddler has a fancy pillow.

I bought this pillow after using my moms original neck pillow which I absolutely loved. I found this pillow much bigger and a lot harder. I bought the medium and found it actually hurt my neck instead of relieving it. Unfortunately I couldn't exchange it which is bummer since I paid a lot of money for a pillow I can't use. For now I guess it's a knee pillow.

The cervical support is too large for my next even when following the sizing chart, coupled with the very firm foam, creates too much resistance on my neck. Actually caused more discomfort than comfort.

I had shoulder surgery and had some neck and upper back issues from college football. I am an active person, who lifts and runs often and want to stay that way. I am a back sleeper especially because shoulder surgery makes it hard to sleep on my stomach. The Tempur-Neck pillow helps my neck stay aligned and has been a game changer to allow me to sleep and wake up without neck/upper back aches. The first few days I was not sure and now I don't ever sleep without it. I also do not mind sleeping on the side and stomach sometimes with this pillow, it helps take pressure off of my shoulder/upper back/neck. Will be purchasing a second one for travel soon.

Neck/Back Pain Gone

I've never written an actual review, but this pillow is awesome. My neck has been hurting for months/years because my old pillows were garbage, but this is phenomenal. I have an extra firm bed, which is supposed to help my back, but my pillows never allowed me to be comfortable on the bed. I (M 27) have a 6" space between my neck and shoulder, so I went with the medium pillow. It felt kind of odd when I got it out of the package and lied down on it (mostly the shape), but that night and the next, I've gotten more restful sleep than I can ever remember. 4-5 hours of sleep feels like 8 now. If you're trying to upgrade pillows, this should definitely be at the top of your list of considerations.

This has got to be the most uncomfortable pillow I have ever laid my head upon. I got it because I have a lot of problems with neck pain but after only thirty minutes of using it my neck hurt so badly. It's hard and doesn't contour to your shape at all. Maybe it's worked for some people but for me it was a complete failure. Would NOT recommend.

I slept on a Tempur-pedic pillow for years. Absolutely loved it. Part of the reason I loved it was because of the amazing soft cover which could be removed and washed. I finally decided to invest (I use that word because these pillows aren't exactly cheap) and just received in the mail today. I am extremely disappointed in the cover. Feels like cheap polyester. I can't imagine I will enjoy touching that. I will reserve judgement on the remainder of whether the pillow will be as comfortable as my previous one. But very disappointed with the cover. Obviously Tempur-pedic has cheapened it without lowering the price of the pillow. I am thinking I should have perhaps tried a different brand.

I bought two medium neck pillows. They are both so hard we can't sleep with them. They do not conform at all. Do Not Buy!! I have two older neck pillows bought years ago from Tempur-pedic and they were great, since they are older I thought getting replacements were due. I was wrong, pillows are non-returnable so I am out. Not sure what is going on with the Tempur-pedic brand but the pillows are hard as a brick!
