I ordered the small pillow as I have a smaller 5'4" frame and the ergonomics of this pillow just does not work. It's tolerable to fall asleep on my side, but laying on my back is basically impossible as the larger bump is awkwardly shaped and doesn't form a brace for my neck but rather holds my head raised in the air. I wake up with a sore neck and it's been in pain all day. I got this pillow and the Tempur-cloud pillow which I wish I just ordered two of. This neck pillow just is not flexible to a variety of bodies and if you aren't even allowed to return it after trying it once, it is a gamble and waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had the tempurpedic side to side pillow for a really long time and loved it but it was due for a replacement. I was so excited to get this pillow and when received it was 1/4 of the size of my original pillow but I thought let's give this a try. Still optimistic. I honestly don't feel like it supports anything. It almost feels flat. It has not helped my neck pain and had actually increased some of my mid back pain From the lack of support. It's disappointing for the amount of money I paid. I have had it about a week and a half and will be ordering something different.

Decent support, but rigid & difficult during sleepoddly

Odd shape, basically square. Traditional pillow case does not fit. The pillow is a rigid square shape that isn't easy to adjust when you change position during the night.

Thought I ordered and paid for two large size pillows but I got standard size. I purchased this product in 2007, and still have that pillow (and someone will one day have to pry it from my cold dead hands). It's superb in every way. I bought the two new ones this year and they are not at all the same quality. I was considering purchasing a new mattress this year because I also bought the mattress in 2007 and love it to this day. Based on the pillows, I won't be buying another mattress. Very disappointed.
