After following the how to choose your pillow instructions, I was torn between the small & medium size neck pillow. It says if you are a side sleeper, the medium would be the better fit. The medium is too high for me. I emailed Tempurpedic & asked if I could return it for a medium. The answer was no, due to the policies of all states. Pillows are considered personal items, but you have 90 days to return a mattress if you don't like it. Very disappointing -

The Tempur neck pillow is my favorite pillow for 20 + yr

I have used the Tempur neck pillow for 20 plus years. I like the support it gives my neck with no neck pain the next morning. I have been a satisfied customer-so much so that I bought a Tempurpedic mattress 5 or 6 years ago.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Support, Holds Shape, Soft Feel

I have a serious neck problem and these pillows were always the best - apparently the company changed the density of the foam so now the pillow isnot as supportive. This will be my last purchase from this company. Also, I am sure my review will not be posted. I will review this item on other websites.

I was excited to get this pillow because I laid on one for a few minutes at a furniture store and it felt great on my neck. I have a really hard time getting my neck comfortable when I sleep. It turned out not to be so comfortable for me. The part that goes under your neck is way too high and felt like it was pinching off my nerves in my neck, so I flipped it around and put the lower hump under my neck and that was a little better, but still not great. Sometimes I wake up okay, and sometimes with a crick in my neck. Guess I'll go back to fighting with a traditional pillow. Hate to since I paid so much money for this one.

I really like the shape and feel of this pillow, but after over a month, the chemical odor is too strong to sleep with. I tried an extra pillow protector and an extra pillowcase, still the chemical smell comes through. Very unfortunate.

My favorite pillow

The pillow took a few days to air out and about 2 to 3 weeks before it softened up. This pillow feels hard when you first lay on it but slowly adjusts to the weight and heat of your head and neck. It fills all the tiny crevices so you are entirely supported. It is great for side sleeping and sleeping on your back. I love this pillow. At first I was not too sure, but now after 6 months, I would buy another today if something should happen to mine. I have tried all kinds of pillows and this is the best.

This is my 3rd Neck Pillow. My 1st one purchased over 5 years ago is still in great shape & very firm. I've just started sleeping on my 3rd one & have to say there is a big difference in manufacturing of this pillow since I bought my 1st one. It is nice not to have to sit on it to speed up the breaking in period; however, for stated as a "firm" pillow it seems softer than my 1st one! I still highly recommend it especially if you have any type of neck/back problems. I wake up with very few (if any) problems even though I'm a side sleeper sometimes. A good pillow for back as well as side sleepers. We are a family who own several types of Temp Pedic pillows & this is one of my favorites next to the body pillow.
