[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this OLED model to replace a perfectly good 4K unit, and I am amazed how different it is... much brighter, sharper and when combined with a good sound bar- amazing! Don't need to go out to the movies anymore..
Fantastic picture and features! Very happy with this TV. My only complaint is that when I switch it on to watch cable, it automatically turns on the LG BluRay player and disconnects the cable. I cannot find a setting to stop this from happening.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Outstanding picture quality, with deep blacks and bright whites. It's worthwhile using different picture modes for different programs. We have found the MR23GN "Magic" remote control that came with the TV hard to use, although we are still learning about it. We got this TV because my wife has macular degeneration, and we can now brighten up otherwise dark images that she had trouble seeing before. There are close-caption modes with very high-contrast, easy to read characters. The sound is quite good for a flat-screen TV.
Had this for a few weeks now and still can’t get over the Amazing picture ! The colors are beyond crisp and the blacks are so dark and sharp that you can’t see any bleed over into the gray scales.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the picture quality. We replaced a 15y old plasma TV and no more pixelated dark tones. I am sure I am saving on the light bill. The old TV produced a lot of heat, but the LG OLED TV runs very cool comparatively.
The only negative I can say is that the Spectrum app is not available in the app store. This means I have to use a Roku to watch broadcast network programming, sports, Hallmark, etc.
