Bought it today it came on then it shut down. Got it turn on again after 5 minutes and it went off again. It goes back tomorrow!

Do not buy this item

I purchased this laminator in March 2015 and I only used this 3 times to laminate my insurance cards. shaking my head. I tried to use it. It turned on and anti jam was lit and it powered off. IJS!

Won't turn on. No way to reset it.

I bought this laminator this spring and used it a handful of times. The last time I used it, one of the pouches got stuck 7/8 of the way through and there was no way to pull it backwards to get it out so I had to finish pulling it out. Now it won't turn on and has no easily accessible "reset" button.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We replaced an older model Scotch laminator with this one. Unfortunately after a few uses it just won't turn on.

I bought this laminator to laminate student work. I used it on 5 different occasions for 22-25 student papers. It worked fine. Due to virtual learning, I stored it in its box and didn't use it for over 18 months. Now that we are back to in-person learning, I tried using it to laminate my students' nametags, and the power will not come on. I plugged it into different outlets, and it still doesn't work. Nothing happens. Disappointed teacher tired of spending my own money on school supplies

Stopped working after 1 year

I bought this laminator a year ago and used it sporadically in that time. Now it won't power on. What a waste.

works great until it dies

it worked well- i only use it for a few random things- nothing regularly. but just after 16 months it stopped turning on. the manufacturer only covers it for 1 year, so it just magically stops working just when the warranty is over.
