The best crossbow I’ve owned

Light powerful and a pleasure to shoot. Bagged my first Muley last fall and couldn’t be happier with Tenpoint.

First Crossbow - Deer Hunting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having harvested deer with a compound bow, I am excited to have moved to a state that allows hunting deer with a crossbow.
Since the RDX400 is my first, I am no expert for sure. However, as I begin to practice for the 2023 season, I have been very please overall. The assembly instructions could have been more clear for the bow I have. The combination of instructions for several bows in one manual made assembly a little harder than it should have been but is still not a big deal.
Everything works and I have had no problems so far. The Acudraw Pro is easy, knowing the bow is cocked properly is easy, and the trigger is smoother than I thought it would be.
Accuracy is better at arrow placement than I was at my best with a compound bow, with faster speed and less drop.
The scope is nice and the yardage is spot on for this bow. Just dial in the correct arrow speed and the calibrated crosshairs and dots are spot on at 20, 30, and 40. My 50 seems a little low but wonder if shooting inside and out of any elements would produce better results. No pins to move and adjust, which is great.
Aluminum arrows seem like a step back in performance but the cost is much better than carbon arrows. To date, the carbon arrows that are recommended for this bow do not appear to improve speed, accuracy, or down range penetration enough to make the switch.
The recommended Wicked Ridge Impact 100 gr. broadheads are curious to me. With a 2" cutting area, the width of cut is nice, but the fact there are only two blades leaves me to wonder about performance. I have always used three or four blades and love the large holes they make when penetraring deer hide. This makes tracking, which is inevitable, easier. Hope the two blades will be OK, but will have to see during the season.
In short, TenPoint quality is apparent, and this crossbow is a great value and good bow for my first. Looking forward to the season and learning how to hunt with a crossbow.

RDX 400

This stealthy crossbow has completely changed the way I hunt. It is so quiet yet deadly that I always return from a hunt where game was available with food for the freezer and table. I would not hesitate to recommend any of the products made by Ten Point.

First Crossbow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The RDX400 checked all the boxes I was looking for in a first crossbow (Price, quality, accuracy, weight and the package it came with) I'm not sure what performance improvement would justify spending more. My biggest hassle has been pulling the arrows out of a 450fps rated target, it will sink them to the fletching.
