Two sets of limbs have splintered.

I’ve had my RDX 400 for 3 years and it’s just gone into the shop for its second set of new limbs. Thank goodness for the warranty. I like the crossbow, but may be looking for something that will have less issues, clearly there are problems with the limbs on these bows.

Quiet, accurate and easy to operate out of the box. I bought this crossbow so i will be able to bow hunt as i get older and back injuries further limit my options.
The RDX400 is the perfect length for maneuvering in stands and has the power to hunt anything i will ever pursue.
The only minor flaw is with the cocking hanle, even firmly and properly inserted in the carrier slot built in to the handle it can rattle. In the stand i remove it and set it aside and stalking i remove it and wrap it in a sock then store it in a closable pocket.

I had a ten point crossbow about 5 years ago and sold it. Didn’t think anything could beat it at the time. I got the urge to get back into bow hunting, and researched crossbows. I decided on the wicked ridge RDX400. I am sure glad that I did! Had I had the funds to do so, I would like to have gone with the decocking model.
