Bow seems to be of good quality and is fast for this price point just under$900. the acudraw on the other hand had issues with draw cords starting to fray after only 25 shots in my case. My friends ten point has a couple years of use with very few issues with the acudraw?

Finally got a chance to throw some bolts down range . All I can say is wow this thing is fast and very accurate . I suggest you find a target with multiple bullseye's or you will spend a fortune on crossbow bolts from Robin Hooding them . My wicked Ridge RDX 400 is a blast to shoot . Can't wait for deer season to begin.

I bought this RDX400 with the ACUdraw
After reading the instruction and a few videos a little assembly i shot it and with just a few clicks with the scope I was Driving TACKS at 20,40,and 60 yards with such tight groups that I ruined 2 of the 3 Bolts came with the bow
Very happy with it no issues at all
Of course with any weapon you need to know what your doing with safety always first on the list

The right choice

This is my first crossbow and I did a lot of research before purchasing the Wicked Ridge RDX 400 and wow I made the right choice, this crossbow is everything I hoped for - light, compact, fast, very well balanced and very accurate. Once sighting it in it is very accurate out to 50 yards, that's as far as I have shot it so far. The only thing that needs upgrading is the scope - I will be upgrading to a scope like the Hawke xb30 to have aiming points out to 100 yards as it is way capable of reaching out there, and I did upgrade to carbon elite arrows witch are
noticeably more accurate than the aluminum arrows.Also don't try and soot groups unless you want to ruin arrows, I have shot into the same holes.A little louder than I expected but I can't imagine any animals jumping the string with this speed, also get a good crossbow target, the arrows from the RDX blew right through my compound bow target. I can't wait for archery season.

This has been my first crossbow and let me say i wish i would have pulled the trigger sooner. Very impressed with everything about this crossbow. I did a lot of research prior to buying and hands down best bang for your buck!!

the balance of the rdx is far about as close as you can get.factor in the speed of the bow and tack pounding comes natrual. its smooth,quiet,compact design makes it easier to walk through the woods
