Did not feel comfortable with my former crossbow at 40 yards. The RDX400 nails it at 40-45 yards. Super quiet. Took a little getting use to the cranking system. Watching the Acu Draw video was helpful.

Nice bow, accurate and fast. Only issues are that I wish it would decock and while sitting in a treestand I’ve pushed the crank handle out of the stock. The handle makes a big clunk when it falls out on your metal stand.

I like most everything about the RDX400. Accuracy and speed were the two primary reasons for purchasing and it didn't disappoint. Although I don't hunt at 60 yards, it's nice to know I can accurately shoot that far.
My dislikes with the RDX400 are related to the ACUdraw. The string does not rewind after cocking the bow. There's quite a bit of slack to rewind by hand after cocking and releasing tension to clear the scope before attempting to rewind/retract the string.
Secondly, I do now like how the string claw sits in the stock. It is too loose and does not sit in the stock the way the manual describes.
I will be making a trip to the shop that sold me the bow to have them check it out. Hopefully they'll have some suggestions or a fix.

Great crossbow for the money!

Great crossbow. This is the first crossbow I’ve ever owned. I’ve been bow hunting for over 10 years and I finally broke down and bought a crossbow. Definitely provides an advantage over a regular compound. Don’t get caught up in the numbers and specs of the more expensive bows. This bow is advertised at 400 FPS, I chrono’d my arrows with 20” 400 grain carbon elite arrows with 125 grain field tip at 371 AVG FPS and as far as performance goes, it still blows my mind!
I was very impressed and very happy with my bow until I had a malfunction with my ACU Draw pro failing. One of the gears must have broke, or slipped sending the string forward when it was 3/4 of the way drawn back. Resulting in a broken acu draw, scuffed flight deck, a bruised hand and sore face from the handle flying back in reverse. I called to see if I could exchange, thinking, “yeah right but worth a shot”. No questions asked. I went to field and stream and had it exchanged less than an hour later. Long story short, I still love this crossbow, stuff can break, these guys back up their products, I’m drilling the target accurately out to 70 yards, best purchase I’ve made in a while.

Awesome crossbow,fast and quiet !

I bought the RDX 400 on 11/11/21 and took it home,sighted it in out to 60 yards with only 8 shots,drove to my camp shot this nice PA 10 the next morning at 32 yds and that evening also filled my doe tag,my wife sure was surprised when I was back home in one day!this bow is the perfect size for the guys who use climbing stands like I do.
