Pretty solid AC unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice little AC unit it does the job. I don’t know if it’s because it’s too hot out that it struggles to cool off but it definitely cools the place. It’s fairly noisy and the smart features are really nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have replaced our bedroom window unit for this, so that we don’t have to run ac through the entire house at night. This was a nice upgrade! It disburses air evenly throughout the room, where the window unit just shot straight out. It’s very low sound, has a remote, the part that goes out the window is seamless—so not air or bugs can get in. It has different settings. We have an average size bedroom that fits a king nicely—-if you are using this for a bigger space, not sure it would be strong enough, however it’s perfect for a bedroom. I would definitely recommend.

BEST PORTABLE AC UNIT ON THE MARKET!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best portable air conditioner I’ve ever owned and I have three in my house all from different popular brands. DREO out preformed all of them. It was very easy to install thanks to only having one hose and adjustable window plate that fits just about any window that opens. Comes with a convenient remote and even has a magnetic holder for the remote. You can also control it by the app which is a cool feature. It’s also has wheels so you can easily move it from room to room. Has 3 modes cool, dry and fan. I was amazed by how silent this unit is. Makes no more noise than a standard fan would make. It was 105 degrees out side and it cooled my room to 65 degrees almost instantly. It can cool your room to as low as 61 degrees if you like. The DREO 8000 BTU Smart Portable AC Unit With Drainage Free Cooling is very durable and built with quality that will last for many years to come. I give the DREO line of portable AC units my highest recommendation!!!

An excellent choice for your bedroom or office

The wheels are smooth and make it easy to move around, though it might be a bit heavy to carry up and down a set of stairs on a daily basis. This unit has proved effective in medium-sized rooms, and the drainage free technology has been convenient, requiring low preventive maintenance. This unit is quiet enough to have in your bedroom at night while you sleep. It's easy to use and has a remote control and an app that makes it easy to schedule, customize, and monitor. Overall, this is a great product, and it has been working wonders with these early summer-like temperatures this spring.

Anh my sun roomhas no AC connection yet. New style has wing that swing up and down. Make air flow more effiction. Plastic frame build nice and strong. So far run over 10 day. No need to drain water out yet. I like this AC.

The perfect indoor air conditioner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this air conditioner and I am really happy with it. Installation was super easy and everything needed came in the box. It has wheels on the bottom which makes it really easy to move around. Once it's running it cools down the room quickly and does a powerful job. It's also very quiet which is a big plus. It has three modes, cooling, dehumidifying and fan mode which gives a lot of flexibility depending on what I need. Overall a great unit and I would highly recommend it.

Amazing quick cooling

It does a great job bringing down the temperature within minutes, and the drainage free feature is a huge plus-no constant emptying needed. The smart controls are easy to use, especially through the app, and the unit runs fairly quietly compared to others in this range. Setup was straightforward, and the the overall build feels sturdy. Great option of you want convenient, hassle-free cooling without the hassle of dealing with a windows unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ** I got this portable air conditioner in return of my fair review **
First off, the air conditioner is very heavy in the box and it does require a bit of strength to even lift it off the box base. It does have wheels so it’s easy to roll around if needed.
The only problem with calling it “portable” is that if you want to use it in different rooms, you need to add all these foam pieces to ensure there’s a good seal in the window for the exhaust. If you end up moving it, you would also end up messing the foam you just added to seal the opening.
The cooling is great and quick but there’s no way to have it shut down the air if there’s nothing to cool. Even at lowest speed, the fan is quite powerful (both good and bad). Based on the box, i thought that I could create a custom schedule of cooling and humidifying/dehumidifying but it’s only 1 or the other for some reason. The app doesn’t allow a combination of both at the same time.
There’s also 2 drain plugs to drain the water so you would need a stand for this AC too (just as a FYI). There’s too many small things which doesn’t work out in my head so that’s why a 3.5 star rating.
